Skills Camps presented by Bell

Skills Camps presented by Bell are for boys and girls U-6 to U-13 and offer age specific training for all levels in a fun and professional environment. This year the club has added a Skills Pro camp in partnership with select community club partners for their development level players.  The Lower Mainland Skills Camps are led by Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame member and former Whitecaps FC player Sam Lenarduzzi who leads an experienced staff of camp and Academy coaches. Skills camps outside the Lower Mainland are led by Whitecaps FC Academy Centre head coaches.

Prospects Camps

Whitecaps FC Prospects Camps are for advanced and motivated players and goalkeepers ages U-9 to U-16 who are looking to take their game to the next level and get noticed by Whitecaps FC staff for the club’s development programs.  In the Lower Mainland, boys and girls can choose from the Prospects Super Camp at the ‘Caps regional training centre at SFU, or Residential Overnight Camps for boys at the National Soccer Development Centre (NSDC) at UBC.

New this year is a girls residential camp at SFU.  The boys residential camp will tie into a Whitecaps FC MLS match, while the girls camp will see the group watch the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup final at BC Place on July 4.  Boys camps are led by Whitecaps FC Pre-Residency and Academy Centre head coach Bart Choufour and assistant James Merriman.  Girls camps are led by former Whitecaps FC Girls Elite REX and Vancouver Academy head coach Jesse Symons with new interim Girls Elite REX head coach Emma Humphries. Prospects camps outside the Lower Mainland are led by Whitecaps FC Academy centre head coaches.

Fantasy and Theme Camps

Specialty camps include the popular Fantasy Camps at BC Place where players get the ultimate Whitecaps FC MLS match-day and camp experience. Train on the pitch at BC Place Stadium, meet players, and cheer on the 'Caps all in one day!  Fantasy Camps are for boys and girls U-8 to U-12 of all skills levels – only three matches are available.

Motivated players and goalkeepers in the Kootenays and Okanagan are offered the opportunity to take part in a special Attacking and Speed Camp led by Academy Centre head coaches David Broadhurst and Brett Adams.
