In the first match of the afternoon, Whitecaps FC U-18 Residency (15W-4L-5D) held strong defensively, but could not find the back of the net in a 0-0 draw.
The 'Caps controlled possession of the ball during their Saturday encounter. The second half saw the Blue and White create multiple chances in front of the Crossfire net, only to come out scoreless. Strong defending by the entire team limited opportunities for Crossfire Premier.
"The boys deserved a goal and more,” U-18 Residency head coach Rich Fagan told whitecapsfc.com. “I am pleased with the quality of football we played at different times in the game. As a team, we will take encouragement from that."
