Whitecaps FC 2, the club's United Soccer League team, played their
first-ever home match
on Sunday afternoon. The match ended in a 1-1 draw, and as you can see below, the sold-out crowd of 3,208 went home happy after a festive atmosphere at UBC Thunderbird Stadium.
We do it again next Sunday when Whitecaps FC take on Cascadia rivals Seattle Sounders FC 2 at The 'Bird.
