VANCOUVER, BC – With the club’s first-ever home playoff match at BC Place this Sunday, Vancouver Whitecaps FC are holding a series of promotions to get the city excited. Every day this week, one lucky fan will win a pair of tickets to this Sunday’s home playoff debut by visiting the ‘Caps promo team between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. PT at the following locations.
Monday, November 2 at Chevron Heritage Woods in Surrey – Fans who find the Whitecaps FC Kia car and the ‘Caps promo team will get a match day magnet for free. The magnet with the golden sticker on the back will win the recipient a pair of tickets to the match.
Tuesday, November 3 at Tim Horton’s at 5th & 6th in New Westminster – Fans can get a free mini-ball from our promo team. The mini-ball marked in gold will win the day’s pair of playoff tickets. Some lucky attendees will also receive a free Tim’s card!
Wednesday, November 4 at BMO on Burrard – Our promo team will hand out free BMO Whitecaps FC Playoffs tees. A pair of tickets will be rolled up inside one lucky tee.
Thursday, November 5 at Fresh Street Market in West Van – Fans can visit our promo team and get a pack of Whitecaps FC player recipe cards. The pack with the golden sticker will be the lucky winner.
Friday, November 6 at Bell Media on Robson & Burrard – This is the last chance to win. Fans can get a Bell “Cheering Just Got Better" scarf from our promo team and see if it unrolls to reveal the winning pair of tickets.
In the spirit of creating a memorable atmosphere at BC Place, Whitecaps FC are also encouraging fans to wear white to the match on Sunday in order to ‘whiteout’ the lower bowl for the first time ever. Ticket sales have already reached the regular season capacity and additional lower bowl seats have been opened.
