Those were some of the words used to describe the atmosphere inside BC Place last night, when Vancouver Whitecaps FC suffered a season-ending 2-0 defeat to Portland Timbers in the club's first-ever home playoff match in Major League Soccer.
On the one hand, it was a night to forget. But as you can see below, it was also a night to remember for the 27,837 fans who filled the lower bowl and brought it home in style.
