MLS Disciplinary Committee suspends Kianz Froese for one match

NEW YORK, NY – The MLS Disciplinary Committee announced today that Vancouver Whitecaps FC midfielder Kianz Froese has been suspended for one match and fined an undisclosed amount for a serious foul in the 74th minute of Whitecaps FC’s match against Sporting Kansas City on March 12.


Froese will serve the suspension during Vancouver’s next MLS match on Saturday, March 19 at Seattle Sounders FC (7 p.m. PT on TSN1 and TSN 1410). Also suspended for one match is defender Jordan Smith, who was shown a red card in last week's match at Kansas City.
