Matias Laba is one of the most underrated players in MLS and Carl Robinson is the second most popular coach among players, according to an ESPN FC player poll published today.

All kidding aside, ESPN FC surveyed 123 current MLS players on the condition of anonymity and the results were quite interesting. The players were asked for their picks on the most overrated and underrated players in MLS and the coach they would most like to play for – in addition to a series of general questions about the league.
The most overrated player, according to the survey, is NYCFC’s Mix Diskerud.
The most underrated players are Dax McCarty of New York Red Bulls and Darlington Nagbe of Portland Timbers – Laba came in at eighth on the list.
And the most popular coach is LA Galaxy’s Bruce Arena, followed by Robinson.
