VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC continue their 2016-17 CONCACAF Champions League (CCL) campaign tonight when they host MLS rival Sporting Kansas City at BC Place.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. PT and tickets are still available.
The match will also be streamed live on the CONCACAF Facebook page (available to users in North America who are logged into Facebook).

YOU AGAIN?
Yes, these two teams just faced each other three days ago in MLS play.
Sporting KC got the better of Vancouver on that night, winning 2-0 on the strength of goals from Jacob Peterson and Benny Feilhaber. Can the ‘Caps return the favour on home turf?
This will actually be the fourth meeting between Vancouver and Sporting KC this season. There’s certainly no love lost between the two sides – just ask Kendall Waston and Dom Dwyer – and something tells me that won’t change tonight with the top spot in their CCL group up for grabs.
TABLE-WATCHING
The ‘Caps currently occupy that top spot in Group C with three points, followed by Sporting KC and Central FC who each have one.
Each team will have two matches remaining after Tuesday’s contest.
A win puts Vancouver five points clear of both Sporting KC and Central FC – while a loss drops them to second and changes the dynamics of the group completely.
YOUNG GUNS
Carl Robinson got some key contributions from his youngsters in Vancouver’s Champions League-opening 1-0 win at Central FC, including a six-save performance from WFC2 goalkeeper Spencer Richey and a nice set-up from up-and-coming Canadian left back Brett Levis.
Alphonso Davies, 15, also showed some promise late in the match.
The likes of Matias Laba, Tim Parker, and Russell Teibert are expected to be involved on Tuesday, but there’s a good chance we see some young guns once again.
