Vancouver Whitecaps FC centre back Kendall Waston was named to the MLS Team of the Week today after featuring in a 3-1 win over Columbus Crew SC on Saturday at Mapfre Stadium.
Waston recorded a game-high seven clearances to go along with four interceptions.
It was his first match with Whitecaps FC after helping Costa Rica advance to the Hex – the fifth and final round of qualifying for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
