A promising goalkeeper from Orleans, Ontario who joined the Residency program in 2013 from Ottawa Fury FC.

2014: Called into camp with Canada's U-17 men's national team in July for the Mexican Cup of Nations tournament where they played games against Costa Rica, Korea Republic, and Brazil. 2013: Aylward was called up as part of a 30-player group assembled for a three-day prospects evaluation for the U-15 Canadian men’s national team. The camp was held from June 4 through June 6 in Montreal, Quebec. He was also named to Canada's Men's U-15 20-man roster for the 2013 Copa Mexico de Naciones which took place in Mexico City from August 10 to 18.

2014-15: Started 17 of his 19 appearances with Whitecaps FC U-16 as the team won the Northwest Division for the second straight season. 2013-14: Made a goalkeeper team high 21 starts, helping the 'Caps win the USSDA Northwest Division. 2012-13: Appeared in two regular season games for Whitecaps FC U-16 Residency. He made a memorable appearance when he came on in the 70th minute to keep the 5-0 home shutout victory intact against Santa Cruz Breakers Academy on May 5, 2013.
