Daniel Sagno, a native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, is a swift and aggressive striker who joins Whitecaps FC from his hometown based Portage Trail Soccer Club.

UNITED STATES SOCCER DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY
2012: Sagno started two of his 10 appearances for Whitecaps FC U-16 Residency, registering one goal on the season in a 5-0 thumping of Santa Cruz Breakers Academy on May 5, 2013.

YOUTH/AMATEUR/REPRESENTATIVE HONOURS
Before joining the Blue and White, Sagno played with Portage Trail SC at the U-13 and U-14 levels from 2010-2012, where he was named Portage Trail Male Player of the Year in 2011. Sagno was a part of the Manitoba provincial team from 2011 to 2012, while also frequently training at the National Training Centre.
 
PERSONAL 
The 5-foot-7 striker currently attends Burnaby Central Secondary School in the tenth grade with an expected graduation in 2016. He has five siblings, Dashi, Lady, Carojune, Tanue, and Emmanuel.
 
INTERESTING FACTS
Sagno's favourite soccer team is Chelsea FC, while his favourite player is their Spanish striker, Fernando Torres. He dreams of one day playing at Chelsea's famed field of Stamford Bridge. When not on the pitch, Sagno enjoys playing basketball, football, or the video game FIFA. His favourite type of food is chinese.
