Jordan Haynes
PROFILE
A former member of Toronto FC Academy, striker Jordan Haynes joined Whitecaps FC Residency in 2011 after playing his entire youth soccer career in Ontario.

2011: Last season, Haynes joined Whitecaps FC U-16 Residency, starting 10 of his 14 appearances in the United States Soccer Development Academy (USSDA). During the season Haynes scored three goals while helping the team win the West Conference Northwest Division and make a run in the USSDA playoffs.
TORONTO FC ACADEMY
2011: At the start of 2011, Haynes played with Toronto FC Academy U-17 in the Canadian Soccer League (CSL) before moving to British Columbia to join Whitecaps FC Residency.
YOUTH/AMATEUR
Haynes started out with Peterborough City in the Central East Soccer League in Ontario in 2005. In 2007, Haynes switched to Whitby Iroquois in the Central Soccer League before heading to Ajax Thunder in the Ontario Youth Soccer League in 2009.
Haynes has represented the Ontario Provincial Team at U-14, U-15 and U-16 levels.
Personal and team achievements include captaining his team in the Danone Nations Cup at U-12, winning the Ontario Cup at U-14 level, and clinching a silver medal in the national championships in both U-14 and U-15.
In 2012 Haynes was called up to the Canadian U-17 men’s national team. In 2011, the Ontario native was called up to Canada’s U-15 men’s national team.
PERSONAL
Haynes has both a Canadian and British passport and is in the eleventh grade at Burnaby Central Secondary School.
INTERESTING FACTS
Haynes’ favourite team is Arsenal and his favourite players are Gareth Bale and Theo Walcott. His dream stadium to play at is Emirates Stadium. Haynes joined Whitecaps FC because “they are the best team in Canada” and his pre-game ritual consists of praying and getting ready the same way every time. When it comes to food, Haynes favourite dish is pasta al forno.
