From Port Coquitlam, BC, striker Kadin Chung joined Whitecaps FC Residency in Sept. 2011 after representing his home province of British Columbia.

YOUTH/AMATEUR
A product of Coquitlam Metro-Ford Soccer Club, Chung has served as captain, won league titles, and claimed tournament Most Valuable Player honours during his youth career. This included involvement with Metro-Ford in the BC Soccer Premier League, with the striker last playing for Metro-Ford Spartans. Chung was also a member of the BC provincial team program at the U-13 level.

PERSONAL
As a student, Chung attended Our Lady of Fatima Elementary School in Coquitlam, BC, from 2003 to 2011 before moving to Archbishop Carney Regional Secondary School in his hometown of Port Coquitlam, BC.

INTERESTING FACTS
Chung’s favourite team is Spanish and European giants FC Barcelona, while his favourite player is Barcelona and Argentina star Lionel Messi. The striker would like to play at Manchester United FC’s Old Trafford home one day. When not playing soccer, Chung enjoys biking, swimming, as well as track and field. His favourite food is pasta.
