A midfielder from Surrey, BC, Liam Fraser joined Whitecaps FC Residency in Sept. 2011 after being part of the club’s Prospects program and representing Western Canada at youth level.

Fraser was a member of Whitecaps FC Prospects, where he trained under Residency staff coach Bart Choufour. With the U-12 Prospects, the midfielder was part of a successful trip to the
Netherlands in the summer of 2008. He was also part of the U-13 Prospects squad.
The Surrey, BC, product started his soccer career close to home with Peace Arch Soccer Club before appearing for Delta Youth Soccer Association Selects and Surrey Guildford United. In 2010, Fraser travelled to South Africa with the Western Canadian U-12 squad for the prestigious Danone Nations Cup tournament. The midfielder has also had the experience of playing in England and Scotland.
Fraser attended Morgan Elementary School in his hometown of Surrey, BC, for six years, while he spent three years at Laurelwoods Elementary School in Orangeville, Ontario. The midfielder now attends Southridge School in Surrey, BC.
A fan of the English Premier League, Fraser follows Manchester United FC and Stoke City FC. His favourite player is Barcelona and Argentina star Lionel Messi, while he hopes to play at Manchester United’s Old Trafford home one day. Outside of soccer, the midfielder enjoys spending his time with friends and swimming. One of his favourite foods is pasta with chicken.
