William Bundy, a native of Chilliwack, BC, is a very slick and agile striker, and he has been a welcomed addition to the Pre-Residency prgoram for Whitecaps FC. Bundy joins the Blue and White from the Burnaby and North Shore based club Mountain United FC.
Before joining Mountain United FC in early 2013, Bundy started off his youth career with Chilliwack FC. He began in their Mini-Ball program from 2005-2008, then on to the U-11 and U-12 Gold teams in 2009 and 2010 respectively. Bundy then progressed to their U-13 Metro squad in 2011 where he was named as the Chilliwack FC Junior and Academy Player of the Year. He then moved on to play for the Abbotsford-based Magnuson Ford Mariners FC U-13 side of the BC Soccer Premier League in 2012. Bundy was also one of the few to receive the prestigious honour of being named to the 2013 U-13 BC Provincial Team.
The 5-foot-3 striker currently attends GW Graham Secondary School in the eighth grade with an expected graduation in 2017. He names his father, Mike, as the biggest influence on his soccer development through his consistent support over the years.
Bundy's favourite soccer team is English club Leeds United A.F.C. while his favourite players in the world are Brazilian stud Ronaldinho and Argentine superstar Lionel Messi. He one day dreams to play at the homefield of his favourite team, Elland Road. When away from the pitch, Bundy enjoys hanging out with friends, playing hockey, football, baseball, and golf. His favourite food of choice is a good cheeseburger.
