![]() Whitecaps launch Wendy's ClinicsApril 28, 2008"Thanks to Wendy’s, Whitecaps players and coaches are able to reach communities around BC and connect with boys and girls, and their families, to help grow the game of soccer," said Whitecaps director of youth Dan Lenarduzzi. Over the next two months, the Whitecaps are visiting seven Lower Mainland communities to promote the game of soccer. Wendy’s Whitecaps Soccer Clinics work with the local community clubs to provide free soccer clinics for boys and girls, ages six to ten (U-7 to U-11). Participants enjoy coaching from Whitecaps players and coaches, as well as autographs and fun prizes. The recent Vancouver clinic was done in partnership with the Kerrisdale Soccer Club. The next clinic is set for Tuesday, April 27, at Niel McLeod Park in Langley. This clinic is also close to being sold out.
