PLAY LIKE A PRO WITH WHITECAPS FC CAMPS IN THE OKANAGAN
- Receive specialized instruction from Okanagan Whitecaps staff David Broadhurst and Claire Patterson at two special summer camps in Vernon.
Whitecaps FC Okanagan camps programs are directed, managed and coached by Whitecaps FC staff in the Okanagan. The Okanagan programs follow the same curriculum and standards as the Whitecaps FC Vancouver programs.

SIGNATURE CAMPS

The Whitecaps signature camps includes three programs designed to be challenging and fun for boys and girls of all ages and levels.
- All camps are 2 hrs. daily for 1 week.
MINI CAPS U6-U7, 2005-2004
- For the beginner.
- Focus on fundamental skills in a fun environment.
DEVELOPMENT U8 - U13, 2003-1998
- For all levels.
- Focus on technique and skill development.
PERFORMANCE U9 - U13, 2002-1998
- For motivated/competitive players looking to accelerate their game.
Grouping Policy: Whitecaps staff evaluate players on an ongoing basis and may be move players to different groups at their discretion.
Age Categories - Based on Sept 2010.
West Van - Tues. - Thurs at 2 ½ hrs. a day.
- Morning: Mini and development programs
- Afternoon: Performance program.

Club Series
The Club Series is a Whitecaps FC Showcase event designed to provide an opportunity for U10 to U13 players within each Club to be identified for Whitecaps Prospects programs. The Club Series Showcase also achieves the following:
For the Club Head Coach/Technical Director and Community Club it provides:
• an opportunity to create a working relationship with Whitecaps staff and network with other Clubs.
• Evaluation, assessment and showcasing of top academy players.
• Opportunities to develop staff and volunteer coaches in a competitive and structured environment.
For the Player it provides:
• An exciting high caliber, non-results focused competitive environment for the top players in each club.
• Play against the top players from other clubs.
• An opportunity to be identified by Whitecaps FC staff for invitation to attend the Prospects program.
Structure
• Hosted at the Whitecaps Training Centre at SFU.
• Teams play 3 thirty minute games at each series. Games are officiated by certified CSA officials
• All games played in an 8v8 format (7 players, 1 keeper). BCSA/CSA laws of the game apply.

Registration and fees
• The Club series is $200 per team plus gst. This fee is set to include referee, facility, and staffing costs.
• Registration is only open to teams representing sanctioned BC Soccer member clubs.
