As the lone Major League Soccer club in Western Canada, we understand our role in growing the sport of soccer and giving young players in and around British Columbia the chance to hone their soccer skills in a professional and fun environment. Through our various programs, participants of all levels will receive top-level instruction and learn to live, act, and play like a pro!
Whitecaps FC host camps throughout the province for boys and girls of all skill levels, ages 5 to 14, and prospect camps based out of Burnaby's Simon Fraser University for serious and motivated players ages 7 to 15 who are looking to take their game to the next level.
Whitecaps FC Community Clinics are a great way for boys and girls, ages 7 to 10, to get their feet wet in a fun, free, one-day session with Whitecaps FC players and coaches, who also hold clinics at different schools around the Lower Mainland.
Whitecaps FC Academy Centres are a network of regional Whitecaps FC training hubs linked through key staff, curriculum, and standards. These Academy Centres, which are usually partnered with local associations or clubs, focus on developing the technical, tactical, physical, and mental aspects necessary to advance to higher levels of play.
One of the goals of our different programs is to give young soccer players the opportunity to get scouted and potentially go on to compete at the highest levels. With Whitecaps FC College Showcases, for boys and girls in the U-15 to U-18 age groups, and the Easter Cup, for boys and girls in the U-11 to U-14 age groups, we aim to do just that.
