Okanagan Prospects Academy

• A limited number of players will be invited to participate
• Supplemental club training for advanced players in a professional club environment
• Train the Whitecaps FC Way. Participants follow a Whitecaps FC age specific curriculum supported by assessments
• All sessions developed by Whitecaps FC staff and delivered by Whitecaps FC Okanagan regional head coach David Broadhurst
• Monthly visits from Whitecaps FC Vancouver based coaching staff
• One MLS weekend in Vancouver to train with Whitecaps FC Residency and Girls Elite staff and watch a Whitecaps FC MLS game
• Connected to the Whitecaps FC Academy Centre network to provide greater exposure and opportunities

• 10 week program from May through June
• Total of 12 sessions at 90 minutes each
• Players must be selected. 16 to 20 players per training group
  • U-10/U-12 boys and girls training groups (2004/2001)

Key Dates and Times

Selected players will be asked to commit for the complete program and the following payment  details. 

Fees: One payment of $250 + tax due upon registration.

Payment Notes:

• Fees include: all event entry fees, coaching fee, and field fee
• Fees do not include: equipment (see below) and any event travel and accomodation

Apparel: Optional Whitecaps FC training kit and track suit are available. One-time fee, valid for at least two years. To view sizing information, click here.

• Official Whitecaps FC Academy training kit (shorts, shirt, socks) - $75
• Official Whitecaps FC Academy track suit - $65

Travel Projects:

U-10 to U-12 boys and girls MLS weekend

• The groups are expected to plan their own travel and accommodations in Vancouver
• Whitecaps FC ticket, lunch, and facility budgeted at $50

Payment Policies:

• NSF cheques are subject to a $20 administration fee
• Refunds are only issued for medical reasons with a doctor's note
• Approved refunds include prorating the registration less a non-refundable $25 administration fee
• Staff reserves the right to refund registration fees if, at an time, the program is deemed not suitable

All sessions are developed by Whitecaps FC professional coaching staff and delivered by Whitecaps FC Okanagan regional head coach David Broadhurst with  visits from Whitecaps FC Vancouver based coaches.
