Structure

PRE PROSPECTS - U10 to U12 Boys & Girls (2004-2007)

  • Three training phases: fall, winter, spring
  • 20 spots availabe for girls, 20 spots available for boys

Fall - 25 sessions

  • September 5 through November 29

Winter - 25 Sessions

  • January 3 through March 20

Spring - 25 sessions

Notes: We have set up the schedule to allow players to have as few club and community conflicts as possible; we have avoided tournament weekends and started in April while teams are not assembled.

PROSPECTS - U14 Boys (2002-2003)

  • Three training phases: fall, winter, spring
  • 30 spots available

Notes: We have set up the schedule together where we are training heavily in April to allow players to focus more on club training later in the season (May and June); we have also avoided tournaments. If there are any conflicts, please communicate them with us so we can find a working arrangement.

Notes: Due to facility constraints and staffing, we have had to scheduled training for this group in the mornings. This has allowed us to train 3 times per week at the beginning of the season which adds some more consistency to our training program. Strength sessions will be determined at a later date.

PROSPECTS - U16 to U18 Girls (1998-2000)  

  • Three training phases: fall, winter, spring/summer.
  • 15 spots available 2001-2002, 15 spots available 1998-2000

  • September 17 through December 10

Winter - 25 Sessions

  • January 5 through April 5

Spring - 25 sessions

Notes: We have tried to find a balance where players that do play club are not double-booked for our training sessions; we have tried to avoid tournament weekends as well, while maintaining the number of session required for the success of this program.

Evaluation & Registration

  • Spring Registration:
    • Pre-Prospects: $525 + GST 
    • Prospects U14: $720 + GST  
    • Prospects U16-U18 Boys & Girls: $720 + GST
  • Fees do not include any travel projects (travel, accomodation, meals, Whitecaps FC ticket if applicable)

Equipment: 

  • All new players require a WFC training kit and track suit.
  • One-time fee, valid for at least two years
  • Mandatory - Training kit (shorts, shirt, socks) - $80 + GST
  • Mandatory - Track suit - $105 + GST
     

Policies

  • Refund requests…
    • received more than 14 days before the start of a phase, will be subject to a 10% administration fee on the registration amount paid.
    • received less than 14 days but more than 2 days before the start of a phase, will be subject to a 20% administration fee on the registration amount paid.
    • received less than 2 days before the start of a phase will not be granted.
  • Registration refunds for medical reasons can only be processed upon receipt of a note from a medical professional. These refunds will be subject to a 10% administration fee, plus a fee for any sessions transpired.
  • Approved refunds can take up to six weeks to process. 
  • No partial refunds will be issued for individual sessions missed by the participant.
  • Whitecaps FC reserves the right to move players to the appropriate training group.
  • In the event that a session is cancelled due to weather, we will do our best to reschedule.
