Okanagan Academy Centre

The Whitecaps FC Okanagan Academy Centre is based out of Vernon and includes programs throughout the Okanagan. David Broadhurst serves as the Whitecaps FC Okanagan regional head coach. Broadhurst will deliver Whitecaps FC's development philosophy and curriculum supported by Whitecaps FC staff in Vancouver who make regular visits to the Okanagan.

Whitecaps FC Academy Centres are a network of regional Whitecaps FC training hubs linked through key staff, curriculum, and standards that provide professional supplemental club training for serious, motivated players. Other current Academy Centres are located in Vancouver, Vancouver Island, the Kootenays, Northern BC and Saskatchewan, with additional locations planned.

Academy Programs

Okanagan Prospects Academy

The Okanagan Prospects Academy is a high level training program for advanced players in a professional club environment. Only a limited number of players will be invited to participate. The Spring program is now in the evaluation stage. Take part in the evaluation camps on April 20/21 for your chance to be invited.

Okanagan School Academy

The Okanagan School Academy is an academy for grade 8 to 12 male and female student/athletes that operates in the school timetable, with a commitment to academic and athletic excellence. Register for the evaluations on April 20.

Okanagan Skills Academy

Based in Vernon, BC, the Okanagan Skills Academy is a training program for motivated boys and girls from U-9 to U-13. The Okanagan Skills Academy offers players the opportunity to train in a professional club environment within the ‘Caps curriculum, and with staff coaches. Registration will open soon for the Fall Academy.

Camp Programs
