  1. Girls Academy (Fall 2019) - U6 - U16. 90 min. Motivated players only. Open registration.
  2. Prospects (Fall 2019) - U8 - U11. 90 min. By invite only to players from the Girls Academy.

Fall 2019

1. Girls Academy (Fall 2019 - Spring 2020)

  • Ages as of September 2019: U6 (2014) - U16 (2004)
  • 10 months with 2 phases:
    • Phase 1: September - March.
    • Phase 2: April - June.
  • 90 minute training sessions on Saturdays at SFU (sessions are 60 minutes for U6 & U7). See location details below.
  • Opportunity to be invited to Prospects sessions.

Phase 1 (Fall 2019 & Winter 2020) - Saturdays

  • U6 - U7 (2013 - 2014) - 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
  • U8 - U10 (2010 - 2012) - 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
  • U11 - U12 (2008 - 2009) - 10:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
  • U13 - U16 (2004 - 2007) - 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. 
  • *Note – some prospect players may be asked to train in a different time slot from their standard age group

2. Prospects Academy (Fall 2019)

  • Prospects offers additional training to girls already registered in the Saturday BMO SFU Academy.
  • Participation is by head coach invite only.
  • Targeted to BCSPL pre-intake ages U8 (2011) to U11 (2008) to support participation in the BCSPL.
  • Includes exhibition matches & potential invitation to tournaments
    • note - match play will be on Monday nights and training time is subject to change to accommodate the matches.

Phase 1 (Fall 2019 & Winter 2020) - Mondays or Thursdays

  • Mondays:
    • U8 -  U12 (2008 - 2012) - 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
    • Please note: U8 & U9 girls will train on Mondays only.
  • Thursdays:
    • U8 - U12 (2008 - 2012) - 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Location and Parking

  • Parents must park at the West Mall Visitors Parkade. This is paid parking with a flat rate of $3.50.
  • There is a 15 minute grace period in this parkade for drop off and pick up.
  • Cars are not permitted to stop or park along the roadway (fire lane) or service vehicle stalls next to Field #4
  • SFU Campus Security will ticket/tow any parked cars.

Girls Academy - Fall 2019

  • Phase 1: $550 + tax
    • U6 & U7: $365 + tax
  • Phase 1 & 2 bundle (Fall 2019, Winter 2020 & Spring 2020): $800 + tax - save $50!
    • U6 & U7 Phase 1 & 2 bundle: $535 + tax

Girls Prospects - Fall 2019

  • Phase 1 (Fall 2019 - Winter 2020): $625 + tax
  • Invited players will receive an email payment link for phase 1.  

Equipment

  • All NEW players require a WFC training kit and track suits
  • One-time fee, valid for at least two years
  • Mandatory - Training kit (shorts, shirt, socks) - $90 + GST
  • Mandatory - Track suit - $105 + GST
    • Important Note: apparel can only be purchased at the beginning of the phase along with your registration. You must order the apparel in package form (ie training kit, track suit). Please use this sizing chart for your order. Exchanges will not be available.

Policies

Important:

  • Players are grouped on ability and progress. Players may be moved to different groups/sessions at staff discretion.
  • Staff reserve the right to refund fees if, at any time, the program is deemed unsuitable.
