Alex's love of soccer began on the grass pitch, where he played for the Whitecaps FC BMO Saskatchewan Academy. He transitioned to the digital pitch in 2019 when he signed for the Whitecaps FC eSports team. In 2021, Alex moved to Xbox, winning the EA Sports Global Series North American Qualifier 1 in January
