Whitecaps to Name New Coach on Tuesday

Vancouver Sun The United Soccer Leagues' Vancouver Whitecaps have called a news conference for next Tuesday to announce their new head coach. While three men have been short-listed -- Canadian senior national team defenders Colin Miller and Nick Dasovic as well as ex-Republic of Estonia national team head coach Teitur Thordason -- it is thought that Thordason, a native of Iceland, has the inside track for the job, vacant since the firing of Bob Lilley on Sept. 18.
