Soccer administrators, coaches, referees, and enthusiasts will be gathering at BC Place Stadium this weekend for the second annual BC Soccer Conference.
Following on from last year’s inaugural event, the British Columbia Soccer Association (BCSA) will offer world-class educational clinics and classes to avid participants from the local soccer community.
Speakers from across North America and around the world will lead demonstrations and clinics on various areas of basic to elite-level soccer play. This year’s speakers include highly-rated strength and conditioning coach Paul Winsper, renowned goalkeeping coach Simon Smith, top German instructor Erich Rutemoller, FIFA assistant referee Hector Vergara, and Canadian national men’s team head coach Dale Mitchell.
This year’s conference will also include a tradeshow showcasing an incredible variety of soccer products, as well as other consumer goods and services from companies that all share a passion for the sport of soccer.
The weekend’s events will also feature the BCSA’s Semi-Annual General Meeting and the Annual Awards banquet, which celebrates the incredible accomplishments of the Association’s members and volunteers.
