Whitecaps U-17 Boys in Europe

Vancouver Whitecaps FC U-17 Boys Prospects are on a European Spring Break Tour where they will train and play a combined tournament and exhibition schedule against some top European competition.Whitecaps Prospects Boys head coach Bart Choufour is leading this top group of U-17's as part of the Whitecaps and British Columbia Soccer Association (BCSA) transition program.The Whitecaps open with an exhibition match against Barking Abbey FC U-17's on Friday, March 21.The Whitecaps then face off in two tournaments - Saturday and Sunday in the Blauw-Wit Tournament, and Monday, March 24, in the BVV Barendrecht tournament in the Netherlands. Competition will include Vitesse Arnhem, FC Groningen, and Kosice from Slovakia.The Whitecaps will play three more exhibition games against SC Heerenveen, Sakuyo U-18 of Japan, and Fortuna Dusseldorf before heading home on Sunday, March 30.Follow the game reports and view photos on the Whitecaps U-17 Boys European Tour at
