Vancouver Whitecaps FC have announced that individual match tickets for the Whitecaps men’s and women’s 2008 regular season are now on sale. Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster Ticket Centres, online at ticketmaster.ca, and by phone at 604.280.4400. Individual match tickets start at just $18.
The Whitecaps men kick off their 2008 season with a three-match home stand. They open the season on Saturday, April 12, against Canadian rivals Montreal Impact. Vancouver will then host the Minnesota Thunder on Saturday, April 26, and on Saturday, May 10, they take on the Rochester Rhinos at Swangard Stadium. On Friday, May 23, the defending United Soccer Leagues First Division champions, Seattle Sounders make their lone visit to Swangard. Vancouver wraps up their 15-match regular season home schedule against Montreal on Saturday, September 13, before closing out the year away to Seattle on Saturday, September 20.
The Whitecaps women open their season on Saturday, May 17, at Swangard against W-League expansion side Ventura County Fusion. The women play their last regular season tilt at home on Sunday, July 20, against Real Colorado. In all, the women will play six home games this season at Swangard, including four doubleheaders.
