Surrey WFC host Evergreen Soccer Club in their first-ever United Soccer Leagues Super Y-League home opener at Newton Athletic Park this Sunday.
Last weekend, Surrey WFC opened their inaugural Super Y-League season by winning three of a four-game weekend series in Washington State against the Spokane Spiders.
On Sunday, Surrey will be looking to continue their impressive start, as they face another first-year Pacific Northwest club in Evergreen SC.
Evergreen also made the trip to Spokane last weekend, winning three and tying one against Spokane. The Surrey WFC U-14 Boys kick off first at 10:00am, with the U-13 Boys playing at 12:00pm and the U-14 Girls at 2:00pm.
The Whitecaps other Super Y affiliates Coastal WFC kick off on Wednesday, May 21, when they host Surrey WFC in their home opener at Mackie Park. Mountain WFC open their season on the road by traveling to Coastal WFC on Sunday, May 25.
