Fastest goal not enough for 'Caps - The Province

Addlery scores in 23 seconds, but Rhinos reply with three goals
Striker Nicholas Addlery wrote himself into the record books Saturday, scoring the fastest goal in Whitecaps history. Addlery found the net after 23 seconds in what would ultimately be a losing cause as the Whitecaps fell 3-1 on the road to the Rochester

Raging Rhinos. Former Whitecap Ze Roberto struck the Rhinos' equalizer and third goal, while Johnny Menyongar's fine finish midway through the second half proved to be the winner. The Whitecaps will return home and prepare for their final Nutrilite Canadian Championship game versus Toronto on Wednesday.

GolTV will broadcast the Nutrilite Canadian Championship match between the Vancouver Whitecaps and Toronto FC live on Wednesday. In addition, CBC Sports will provide live broadband coverage of the match at cbcsports.ca and TEAM 1040 Sports Radio will also broadcast live commentary. Tickets are still available for the game, scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m. at Swangard Stadium.
