Residency face Quakes in PDL playoffs

Vancouver Whitecaps FC Residency take on San Fernando Valley Quakes on Saturday, as they challenge for the PDL Western Conference title in Fresno, California. In the first game of Saturday's semifinal doubleheader, Whitecaps Residency play San Fernando Valley at 4:30 p.m, while hosts Fresno Fuego take on Tacoma Tide at 7:30 p.m. The winners of Saturday’s semifinal matches meet on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. The winner of Sunday's conference championship game advances to the PDL semifinals next weekend. The Whitecaps finished in a tie for first place with Tacoma, who captured the Northwest Division crown on goal difference. They face a San Fernando team that topped the Southwest Division, just edging out Fresno by a single point. This is the second straight year that the Fuego has met Tacoma in the conference semifinals.
