On Saturday January 24, Whitecaps goalkeeper Jay Nolly spent the morning with the North Shore Salvation Army Soccer Academy.
Jay participated with the kids and coaches in warm-up, stretching, drills, and scrimmages. He offered some words of encouragement and coaching tips, and had a great time acting as shot-stopper against some serious youthful fire-power.
The North Shore Salvation Army Sports Academy is holding a fundraising dinner and draw to support programs that benefit lower income youth. The event takes place Saturday February 21, 6:30 pm at Eagles Hall (170 W3rd St., North Vancouver). Tickets are $50 each.
