Vancouver Whitecaps U-18 Girls Prospects are heading to the prestigious Las Vegas College Showcase in Las Vegas, Nevada, this weekend.
The event, which runs from Friday, March 13, to Sunday, March 15, is one of the top-ranked college showcase tournaments in the United States.
The Whitecaps U-18 Girls - which includes players born from 1991 to 1993 - will play in the top U-19 division of the tournament and compete against top teams from California, Connecticut, Nevada, and New Mexico.
"Our team has been playing very well lately, getting results against the University of Victoria, University of British Columbia, and University of Alberta," said Whitecaps Girls Prospects head coach Jesse Symons. "The girls are excited to test themselves against top US competition in Las Vegas."
