Whitecaps suffer another away loss - Canadian Press

CARY, N.C. -- The Vancouver Whitecaps lost on the road for the second straight game Friday, falling 2-1 to the Carolina RailHawks in United Soccer League First Division action.

Gregory Richardson's goal in the 44th minute gave the home side a halftime lead.

Sallieu Bundu doubled Carolina's lead in the 65th minute before Vancouver substitute Charles Gbeke scored a consolation goal for the Whitecaps in the 90th minute.

It was the RailHawks' first-ever home win over Vancouver.

Dever Orgill replaced Gbeke in the Whitecaps starting lineup, giving the Jamaican his first-ever start.

The Whitecaps' next game goes July 25th when they host the Puerto Rico Islanders.
