Getting to know Ricardo Sanchez

By Simon Fudge/ With a new season just around the corner, meets up with one of the club's new signings in talented central midfielder Ricardo Sánchez. The Mexican playmaker will be a familiar face to Whitecaps fans, with Sánchez having spent the past three seasons in the United Soccer Leagues First Division with California Victory and Minnesota Thunder. Having joined the 'Caps last November, the 27-year-old talks about the men's team's extensive off-season training program and his aspirations for the 2010 campaign.
A former Mexican U-17 national team captain, Sánchez also gives us some insight into the type of player he is on the pitch, as well as thoughts on his new club and home.
