Vancouver Whitecaps U-18 Girls Prospects will battle some of the best clubs in North America this weekend, as they compete in one of the top-ranked college showcase tournaments in the United States - the Las Vegas College Showcase.
The event, which runs this Friday, March 12, to Sunday, March 14, features a top-level U-19 division, with the Whitecaps playing four matches in the U-19 tournament. On Friday morning, The Whitecaps face De Anza Force SC 91 Blue before facing Slammers FC 91 North later that evening. On Saturday morning, the Whitecaps will take on Sereno 92 Girls White before meeting Cal Odyssey Red on Sunday morning.
The U-18 Girls Prospects are coming off last weekend's participation in the inaugural Whitecaps West Coast College Showcase, where they faced University of British Columbia Thunderbirds, University of Alberta Pandas, and Trinity Western University Spartans.
