By Simon Fudge/whitecapsfc.com
Less than a month remains before the 2010 USSF D-2 Pro League begins, and as the Vancouver Whitecaps men's team continue their preparations for the new campaign, whitecapsfc.com meets up with new signing
Greg Janicki
.

The native of New Baltimore, Michigan, made a positive impression on Whitecaps fans during last Saturday's friendly with Major League Soccer (MLS) club Seattle Sounders FC at Swangard Stadium. The former Michigan State University standout, who signed a one-year contract - plus an option - with the Blue and White last December, comes to Vancouver after playing for current Whitecaps director of soccer operations Tom Soehn at MLS club D.C. United.

In our exclusive interview with Janicki, the 25-year-old shares his thoughts on pre-season training and his new teammates since arriving on Canada's west coast. The defender also provides his unique insight into the levels of play in both MLS and the USSF D-2 Pro League. To learn more about one of the club's new additions, please view our whitecapsfc.com interview with Janicki.
