Vancouver Board of Trade Event – Bracing for big league business 

This Monday, February 14, Vancouver Whitecaps FC invite the business community and fans to join MLS commissioner Don Garber along with Whitecaps FC co-owner Jeff Mallett at a special event hosted by the Vancouver Board of Trade with presenting sponsor Bell and supporting sponsor BMO. You will learn about the positive impact MLS will have on our city and how businesses can maximize the opportunity. 

With higher average attendance than both the NBA and the NHL in 2010, MLS is no flash in the pan – and over the past 16 years has proven there is a place for soccer in major North American markets. Here in Vancouver the buzz is growing, and the ‘Caps have already sold more than 15,000 season tickets.

March 19 will be a historic day for professional sports in Vancouver, as the city’s only team to win a major North American championship will return to the major league in their inaugural match versus Toronto FC. On March 19th we’ll be on the pitch – and we’ll be ready. Where will you be?
