Saturday, March 19, will be one of those days we'll talk about years from now, with fans bragging to each other "I was there at the beginning...”. Our Vancouver Whitecaps FC begin their first season at Empire Field against Toronto FC, and we will be making history with our fans. The atmosphere on this day is going to be incredible, as many of you have been waiting for this moment for a very long time.
I can feel the excitement this team is going to bring to Vancouver, it is the same feeling I had as a young 20-year-old in my first season with Whitecaps FC. I have every reason to believe that families and friends will flock to Empire once more to experience a thrilling ride and build new memories.
The time is now to act and make sure you don’t miss out, instead of having to rely on your friends to tell you what you have missed. So, I will give you all the info you need to make this happen.
Individual match tickets for the first three MLS regular season matches at Empire Field went on sale today. Individual match tickets will range in price from $20 to $55 (including HST), plus applicable service charges and fees.
The first three matches at Empire Field are:
Saturday, March 19, 3:30 p.m. PT vs. Toronto FC
Saturday, April 2, 4 p.m. PT vs. Sporting Kansas City
Wednesday, April 6, 7 p.m. PT vs. New England Revolution
You can purchase tickets online at Ticketmaster or Charge-by-Phone: 1.855.6.GO-CAPS (1.855.646.2277). Single match tickets for the remainder of the season will be made available at a later date.
Some of you may not know that season tickets are still available, but you need to move quickly, as the club are close to reaching their season-ticket cap of 16,500. To purchase season tickets or for more information, call the Whitecaps FC office at 604.669.9283.
