Vancouver Whitecaps FC, in conjunction with Major League Soccer and The Home Depot, would like to remind its fans to apply or nominate their Community MVP for a chance to win a National Prize package, which includes a trip for two to New York to the 2011 AT&T MLS All-Star Game being held on July 27, 2011, at Red Bull Arena.
Whitecaps FC fans have the opportunity to nominate themselves or other individuals who go above and beyond to make a difference and have a positive impact in their community. One (1) community MVP will be selected to represent Whitecaps FC based on their efforts in one or more of the following areas:
· Community service for a local, national, or international charity or community organization
· Positive impact on youth
· Environmental Sustainability
· Health, wellness, and education
· Military or civic service
The selected winner for Vancouver Whitecaps FC will be recognized nationally and will also receive:
· National Prize Package
o Trip to the 2011 AT&T MLS All-Star Game (package for winner and one (1) guest)
o Two (2) nights accommodations
o Round-trip airfare
o Two (2) tickets to the 2011 AT&T MLS All-Star Game at Red Bull Arena
o $500 gift card provided by The Home Depot
o Recognition during 2011 AT&T MLS All-Star Game halftime ceremony
o 2011 AT&T MLS All-Star Gift Bag
o One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected from the Community MVPs of all 18 clubs and will receive a $10,000 donation to their charity of choice. Grand Prize winner to be announced during 2011 AT&T All-Star halftime ceremony.
