MLSsoccer.com unveiled today that Vancouver Whitecaps FC attacker Camilo is one of five nominees for AT&T Goal of the Week.
Recording the ‘Caps first goal from a set piece all season, Camilo netted his fifth tally of the season when he flicked a header on a cleverly played ball from Davide Chiumiento that eluded Sporting Kansas City ‘keeper Jimmy Nielsen to open the scoring at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park. It was the Brazilian's third goal of the season against Sporting KC after two goals in a dramatic 3-3 draw at Empire Field on April 2 that saw him named MLS Player of the Week.

This is the third consecutive week Whitecaps FC has had a player nominated for the award, with Eric Hassli winning for his mind-blowing volley two weeks ago and defender Alain Rochat finishing a close second last week after his game winning strike against Philadelphia Union.
