Vancouver Whitecaps FC launched season ticket sales for new customers for the club’s 2012 Major League Soccer (MLS) season today, Tuesday, August 23. 2012 season tickets include all MLS regular season home matches and Nutrilite Canadian Championship home matches in 2012.
The club also announced that new season ticket holders, who purchase by September 30, have the opportunity to purchase a ‘Season Ticket Plus’ package, which includes the four 2011 matches on Bell Pitch downtown at BC Place, plus 2012 season tickets. The Season Ticket Plus package will ensure new season ticket holders experience every Whitecaps FC match on Bell Pitch downtown between now and the end of the 2012 season.
Season Ticket Plus holders will receive savings over individual match ticket pricing for all matches, including the four 2011 Whitecaps FC matches on Bell Pitch downtown. Fans can purchase Season Ticket Plus packages by calling the Whitecaps FC office at 604.669.9283.

Season ticket and Season Ticket Plus holders receive priority purchase rights to international and playoff matches. Other benefits include significant savings over individual match ticket pricing, the opportunity to purchase pre-sale tickets for select concerts at BC Place, and discounts on Whitecaps FC merchandise.
“Whitecaps FC season tickets are affordably priced and provide fans with access to all of the excitement and entertainment of ‘Caps home matches,” said Paul Barber, Whitecaps FC chief executive officer. “Season Ticket Plus packages will ensure fans have the opportunity to witness all matches on Bell Pitch downtown at BC Place from October 2, 2011 onwards.”
New season ticket and Season Ticket Plus holders who pay their deposit by Monday, October 10, will be entered into a draw to win one of two grand prizes for a trip for two to the 2011 MLS Cup in Los Angeles, California.
Every two weeks, all committed 2012 season ticket and Season Ticket Plus holders will be entered into a draw for great bonus prizes from Whitecaps FC partners, including a Bell Canada Samsung Galaxy S II 4G superphone, a $500 Sport Chek gift certificate, and a Q Golf Club round of golf for four people including two power carts, among others.
