MLSsoccer.com have unveiled that Vancouver Whitecaps FC goalkeeper Joe Cannon is one of five nominees for the MLS Save of the Week.

The 'Caps 'keeper earns the Week 26 nomination after making a quick diving stop on a header from New York Red Bulls striker Juan Agudelo. As Whitecaps FC were locked in a 1-1 match, Agudelo snapped a header that was heading for the bottom corner, but Cannon quickly leaped to keep the ball out of the net. He followed up by making a second save on New York's Dane Richards.
This is Cannon's fourth nomination of the season, having earned previous considerations for 'Save of the Week' in Weeks 17, 20 and 24. Fellow 'Caps goalkeeper Jay Nolly, meanwhile, received nominations back in Weeks Four and Nine.
