Being featured in our Match Day program for Thursday’s match versus Real Salt Lake was clearly good luck for Vancouver Whitecaps FC striker Camilo. The striker earned two penalty kicks and scored on both opportunities. Usually known for his fancy footwork while dribbling down the pitch, Camilo was able to show off his scoring style. Misdirecting the Real Salt Lake goalkeeper showcased why his nickname, back home, is “The Magician”.
Camilo now leads the Blue and White in scoring with 11 goals so far this season.
