VANCOUVER WHITECAPS FC IN THE NEWS:

Young Whitecaps FC midfielder, Russell Teibert had a season full of injuries but is healthy now and ready to show-off his skills more than ever.  "I think he's a young player I'd like to see developing. He's had some injury issues this year but he did well in the sessions and a number of guys did well," said coach Martin Rennie regarding Teibert’s day on the field.  (Bruce Constantineau – The Vancouver Sun)

"Don't get me wrong, I'll probably be more aggressive than Martin. Martin's a thinker, whereas I'm a seat-of-your-pants [guy]. I see things as a player, but the only way you'll get things out of players is treating them with respect and encouraging them to get better," said new Assistant Coach, Paul Ritchie yesterday about what the players should expect from him from now on.  (Marc Weber – The Province)
