Christine Sinclair has enjoyed an illustrious career so far, and today it was announced that she will be inducted into the United Soccer Leagues (USL) Hall of Fame. (The Canadian Press – tsn.ca)

Former Whitecaps FC player, Gordon Taylor, received the high honour of a Lifetime Contribution award to soccer at the MBNA North West Football Awards last night. Taylor is currently the chief executive of England’s Professional Footballers Association (PFA) and is still highly involved in the sport today.  (Peter Spencer – Manchester Evening News)
