'Caps Chronicle: A week of 'Impact' in Major League Soccer

VANCOUVER WHITECAPS FC:

Women’s Professional Soccer is one of the top leagues for women in the United States and is at risk of losing its status due to a lack of teams participating in the league.  “We just came off a phenomenal season in 2011 and it feels like this is our time. We want to grab that and run with it,” said WPS commissioner Jennifer O’Sullivan.

The show is on again starting January 23, 2012, every Monday to Friday at 3 p.m. PT on TEAM 1410.

Whitecaps FC have had some recent shake-ups of their roster. “We need to get better. We feel we have a core of players we can do that around, but we need upgrading in a number of positions,” said ‘Caps president Bob Lenarduzzi on the changes the team has seen in the last week.
