Richard Grootscholten has been the head coach and technical director of the Whitecaps FC Residency program for the past year, leading the expansion of the program from one U-18 team to a total of 71 young players training hard to improve and attain a professional career.
A successful coaching history with youth development in the Netherlands makes Grootscholten the ideal leader to produce future stars for both Whitecaps FC and for Canada.
