Volunteers wanted: Come one, come all!

Want to volunteer?

Volunteers are an integral part to every organization and Whitecaps FC are no exception. When it comes to running matches, events and programs, our volunteers ensure that they run as smoothly as possible. With the 2012 season fast approaching, Whitecaps FC are looking to fill 100 positions. So, if you have a passion for sports, soccer or events, then our volunteer positions are perfect for you!

Who are we looking for?

This is an opportunity for anyone who is interested in gaining first-hand experience to pursue a career in sports, human kinetics, youth programming, not-for-profit, broadcasting, marketing, media, communications and much more. We have a multitude of volunteer positions to fill before first kick on March 10, so be sure to take a look at the full list of openings to see what’s the best fit for you.

What’s in it for you?

A hands-on experience with a professional club and an opportunity to network with individuals who work in the sports field at a top level. Over the years there have been a number of volunteers with Whitecaps FC that have used their opportunity to grow professionally. Kaitie Barton, for example, spent eight months with Whitecaps FC and gained valuable experience with the club. That helped her to land a position with BMO in their grassroots soccer program. “I would not be where I am today without the networks and skills I developed throughout my eight months with the club,” said Barton of her time with Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
