Last year’s team MVP Camilo saw his first action this preseason, as he went through a light workout with another late arrival, Korean legend Young-Pyo Lee.
Camilo will be looking to build on his first season in Major League Soccer, where he finish as the leading scorer for Vancouver Whitecaps FC. There will be tough competition on the front line, but Camilo is looking forward to the challenge.
For Lee, meanwhile, this will be his first season in MLS. He is hoping to use his vast experience to help the 'Caps get to the next level. These two players may very well be two of the most popular on the team and a dream come true for fans, but they could be a nightmare for other teams.
Camilo and Lee could both see action tomorrow as Whitecaps FC play a full-field 11 v 11 intrasquad match tomorrow, 10 a.m. at Burnaby Lake West.
