WHITECAPS FC IN THE NEWS

Adding to her long list of achievements, Canadian women’s national team star Christine Sinclair has been named a finalist for the Best of BC Award (Sport BC). Catch Sinclair and Canada at BC Place tonight as they face Mexico for a berth in the London 2012 Olympics! Kickoff is at 8 p.m. PT.


The opponent has been determined and the date set as Vancouver Whitecaps FC will meet FC Edmonton in the Amway Canadian Championship. Edmonton have said that they will host their home leg at Commonwealth Stadium. The winner of the semi-final series will meet the winner of the semi final series between Toronto FC and Montreal Impact. (The11.ca)

‘Whitecaps FC Daily’ with Peter Schaad is back in its usual 3:00 p.m. timeslot on TEAM 1410 sports radio! Its for those of you who may have missed past episodes, you can find them HERE!


The show airs every Monday to Friday at 3 p.m. PT on TEAM 1410.
